Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had some harsh words for Dele Alli followingTottenham's dismal night at Wembley as they crashed out of the Europa League.
Alli was sent off for a horror challenge on Gent midfielder Brecht Dejaegere five minutes before the break at Wembley, with Spurs chasing the game.
Speaking on BT Sport after the match, Redknapp said: "He’s got to cut that out of his game, he’s got that streak in him."
"I love him but that tackle is horrendous. He could have finished that fella’s career.
"He’s lost his head. Look at that.
"How the fella’s not got a broken leg I do not know, it’s a miracle."
Alli appeared to be riled up after he felt he was fouled moments earlier before his reckless tackle earned him an early bath.
It is the first time the 20-year-old has been red-carded in his professional career, although he has been booked five times so far this season.
