Antonio Conte is ready to ditch Michy Batshuayi this summer, with Arsenalattacker Alexis Sanchez at the top of his list of potential replacements, reports claim.
The Belgian striker arrived from Marseille last summer in a £33million deal but he has failed to impress the Chelseamanager and hasn’t managed a single start in the Premier League.
Sir Alex Ferguson privately admits he was wrong about Jose Mourinho at Man United
The 23-year-old has largely made disappointingly short cameo appearances from the bench and he has seriously struggled to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge.
Conte will now look to bolster his striking options, with Sanchez a main target, according to the Mirror.
The Arsenal attacker will have one year left on his contract should he fail to agree new terms at the Emirates before the summer and Chelsea have registered an interest in him.
Torino striker Andrea Belotti and Fernando Llorente are also viewed as quality options by Conte, while Tammy Abraham is expected to be integrated back into the squad after a successful loan spell with Bristol City.
