CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte says his decision to start Cesc Fabregas against Swansea was because he felt it was best for the team.

It was Fabregas' 300th Premier League appearance of his career.

And Conte revealed the Spaniard earned his place after a week of training.
He told Sky Sports: "After one week of work, I try every game to take the best decision for the team and the opponent that we face.
